Lets say you have page assets located at:<br />

<pre><code>/site/page1
/site/page2</code></pre>
<p>Edit page1 and create an internal link to page2, using the WYSIWYG. Looking at the link in HTML view shows the link as:<br />
</p>
<pre><code><a href="/site/page2" title="page2">Page2</a></code></pre>
<p>Now, go back to the WYSIWYG and copy the entire link and paste it on a new line. Save the page, then edit it again. Look in HTML view and you will see the copy and pasted link has been changed to:<br />
</p>
<pre><code><a href="../site/page2" title="page2">Page2</a></code></pre>
<p>This breaks the link.<br />
</p>
<p>I've tested this on Firefox 3.6.12 on Mac and Windows, and the same behavior happens. I've also tested this with Google Chrome and it does not rewrite the link.</p>
<p>Our current work around is to have people copy and paste in HTML view. I don't have access to an older copy of Firefox to test it out, nor did I receive any reports about this before today, so that's why I am assuming it's specific to the recent Firefox update.</p>
