WYSIWYG copy and paste issues with Firefox 3.6.12
We just ran into a problem that seems to have started with Firefox 3.6.12. Lets say you have page assets located at:
/site/page1
/site/page2
Edit page1 and create an internal link to page2, using the WYSIWYG. Looking at the link in HTML view shows the link as:
<a href="/site/page2" title="page2">Page2</a>
Now, go back to the WYSIWYG and copy the entire link and paste it on a new line. Save the page, then edit it again. Look in HTML view and you will see the copy and pasted link has been changed to:
<a href="../site/page2" title="page2">Page2</a>
This breaks the link.
I've tested this on Firefox 3.6.12 on Mac and Windows, and the same behavior happens. I've also tested this with Google Chrome and it does not rewrite the link.
Our current work around is to have people copy and paste in HTML view. I don't have access to an older copy of Firefox to test it out, nor did I receive any reports about this before today, so that's why I am assuming it's specific to the recent Firefox update.

Never mind. I thought I looked for this issue already on the site, but I didn't see that it was already posted at:

I'll return to my regularly scheduled work now.
