I need a group to view the site area and restrict them from viewing assets in the global area. So far, I am seeing both.

Can you move the global area assets to a site for that purpose and leave global empty?

    Hi,

Because all users have inherent access to the Global Area, I believe you would need to change the Default (All) permission on the Base Folder within the Global area to NONE and add individual Group and User permissions to the Base Folder as needed. This should essentially hide the entire Base Folder within Global unless otherwise specified.

Another option, as Jason suggested, would be to migrate into Sites because you would have more fine grained control over access to individual Sites.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!
