external dynamic file upload
Is Cascade Sever capable of creating a form with a browse function that will attach a file then upload back into the Cascade Server. Need something like this for our admission office.
Tried posting on here earlier but don't know if it went through.

Hi Robert,
Will this be to allow non-Cascade users to upload files within Cascade? If so, I believe the best way to accomplish this is to use an external script that will process the multi-part form and use Web Services to encode and upload the file into Cascade.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks

Yes it is to allow non-Cascade users to upload files within Cascade. Is there any documentation on how to go about using Web Services in such a way. I haven't done much development in Cascade and will probably need the help of our IT.

It sounds like that will be the route you would want to take. You could even go a step further and also set up a Workflow that could have someone review the file before it is actually created in Cascade.
More information on Web Services can be found on this page in our Knowledge Base. We also have some sample code posted on Github:
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks

No problem at all, Robert. If you would like, perhaps we can open up this discussion to the public and see if anyone else from the community implemented similar functionality.

Thanks again for the help but I don't think that will be necessary. I just needed to find out if it was possible and how to go about doing it as an option.
