Windows Patches

I currently have over 100 patches, dating back to 2012, that need to be installed on my server that is running cascade and the database. Does anyone know of any patches that caused problems with Cascade and any special installation instructions for any KBs? What about Adode and Java updates as well?

    Hi Richard,

    From a Cascade Server stand-point, as long as your OS and installed platforms (eg Java and database) are supported by the version of Cascade Server you are running, you should be good to go.

    For example, if after performing an update you upgrade to Java 7, you will need to be running at least version 7.4, which is when we officially added support for Java 7.

    Thank you for your response. It appears as if we are currently on 7.6. So you do not foresee any issues with any Windows updates or Java/adobe as long as we stay within our current update version, example Java 7?

    Not a problem at all, Richard. Correct, as long as your environment meets the requirements for Cascade Server 7.6, you should be good to go.

    Will do. I am going to start installing patches tomorrow so if I have any problems I will return to this forum. Thanks again.
