Is there a re-authenticate bug
Cascade 6.10.9 using custom authentication via CAS.
So far I've only heard about one of our users experiencing this,
but he logs in to Cascade server (he's a site manager role) and
drills down about 3 folders and is asked to re-authenticate.
The session length setting is 60 minutes, and he's is the only one so far out of dozens of users to report this.

Hi c-siems,
Because this seems to be affected one user, I'm thinking your custom authentication is functioning properly (or there may be something wrong with the user's account).
It sounds as though the user may be getting logged out due to an existing login session with Cascade. Perhaps the user is logged in from another computer, browser, or browser window/tab. Would you be able to confirm this with the user?
If this is the case, there is an existing feature request on the Idea Exchange to allow for users to be logged in from multiple locations, feel free to vote/comment if you feel this would be a good feature to add in a future version of Cascade.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks.

I've had issues like this before when leaving Cascade open on another computer and moving to a different one.
You might also want to check another thing and make sure that the system time on your Cascade server, the system time on the central auth server, and the system time on the user's computer are all correct and recently synced to a time source. A little drift can cause a lot of trouble.

Hi c-siems,
I was going over some older discussions and noticed this one is still open. Were you able to diagnose the issue with the user who was being unauthenticated?
Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks.
