Workflow Requirements Keep Reappearing
Periodically, I have users call in stating that they cannot perform tasks for which they have permissions because they get a workflow error. Specifically, it tells them that they do not have access to any workflows, when they are apparently required for their operation. The problem is, I've removed the need for workflows on the entire site MULTIPLE times. But, for some reason, they keep getting re-enabled. I don't have any workflows in existence, at all, and yet they keep showing up as being needed out of nowhere. Is there something that re-enables this requirement?

Hi webadmin,
Thank you for notifying us of this behavior. We were also able to reproduce this locally and have recorded this as a known defect. Please feel free to track the status in future releases.
In the meantime, a possible workaround is to enable the Bypass Workflow option for the affected Roles (or enable it Globally), and change the workflow options back after editing a Folder asset.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks.
