Index Block is missing title

Hello,

Recently, the Title metadata field disappeared from one of our index blocks.
I double checked that the Indexed Asset Content checkbox "User Metadata" and resubmitted the title of the indexed page.

This problem doesn't seem to have come up before on the forum. We're running 7.12.4.

   Hi Erik,

   I'm wondering if this could be a caching issue. When you have a moment, can you edit/submit that Index Block and see if the <title> appears? If that doesn't work, try these steps:

   • Click System Menu -> Preferences -> General
   • Under the Index Block Rendering Cache field, un-check the 'Enabled' box, then click Submit
   • Immediately re-check the 'Enabled' box
   • Check to see if the Index Block is showing the <title>

   Hi Tim,

   It doesn't seem to be a caching issue. I tried your troubleshooting steps twice and the title field's still missing. I recorded my steps the second time and attached it below.

   What else can I try?

   Hey Erik,

   I went back and viewed your first screen capture again and noticed that the Page you are looking at doesn't appear to be the same one that is listed in the Index Block. When you have a moment, can you verify that:

   • The Page in question is using the correct Content Type (the one specified in the Index Block)
   • The Page in question is indexable
   • The Page in question has not reached its End Date and has reached its Start Date
