Bulk Change phantom page
Hi,
A page asset that doesn't exist, appears in the Bulk Change tool
list. While we have a base asset called "News Story" it's located
somewhere else. I've noticed it in other folders but not all
folders.
Is this a known issue?
Thanks.

Hi there,
Let's see if we can get some more information about that asset that is appearing there. When you have a moment, can you or your DBA execute the following query and attach the results here?:
Thanks!2 Posted by shopmyes on 19 Aug, 2015 02:42 PM

Interesting. OK, I guess at this point I'll need to see some of the other fields since I wasn't expecting that output. Can you run this instead?:
Sorry for not having you run that the first time. I was just trying to make the output more easy to read by having the main columns I was interested in being outputted.I'd also like for you to run this query:
and let us know the results. Thanks!

This one looks way uglier ;)
And the second query returned no results.

Ha, that's what I was afraid of. Maybe try the
\G
option at the end of the query?:6 Posted by shopmyes on 19 Aug, 2015 03:26 PM
You're my new best friend, that's fantastic:

Awesome. Thanks, Shawn! OK, it looks like that particular Page is a Draft from the user
georgek
. Drafts shouldn't be appearing in that interface, so I'm filing a bug report to have us address this. I'll attach it to this issue shortly. In the meantime, you can simply ignore that asset (by unchecking it prior to performing your Bulk Change) - or - you can have that User delete the Draft or merge the changes into the current version.

OK, I went ahead and filed an issue for this which I've attached to this ticket. You'll see it on the right-hand side of the discussion with a state of 'open'. When we have addressed the issue, that state will change to 'closed' or 'resolved'. At that point you can keep an eye out on our Release Notes for any new versions we make available to see if that bug fix was added.
Thanks for the report and let me know if you all have any additional questions!

Thank you, Tim and Shawn, for helping me troubleshoot this. I'll look for the fix in an upcoming release and let
georgek
know about his draft in the meantime.Erik
