Session already invalidated
Something is causing our tomcat/logs (both catalina.out and cascade.log) to grow at an incredible rate!
2012-03-27 10:06:16,906 ERROR [CascadeSessionListener] : Monitor thread encountered an error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: getAttribute: Session already invalidated
catalina.out is 22GB and growing. cascade.log from yesterday is 18GB, today is 3.4GB and growing.
getting this error multiple times per millisecond. help!??

Restarting cascade seemed to resolve the issue.
Is it safe to delete catalina.out? it's 24GB, but at least it's no longer growing.

Hi there,
This is something that I've seen once or twice before and that we are aware of. We'll be working to correct this in a future patch release.
I see that you've just restarted the application which is exactly what I was going to have you do. Doing so will basically eliminate all current sessions and thus correct the problem.
You can remove any log files that you need to get rid of. I doubt you'll see this behavior again, but if you do please let us know.
