Loggin in from IE 11

When I log into our test instance of Cascade Server 7.10.2, on IE 11/Windows 7, the login prompt remains visible in the left navigation. When I click on a page, I get logged out. all together. See the attached animated giftl. Is this a know issue?

   Hi Erik,

   For some reason the animated gif does't seem to be loading, would you be able to attach it to this discussion again?

   In the meantime, based on your description, it sounds as though you may be logged into Cascade in another window (or browser), which is causing your session to be invalidated soon after logging in. Can you confirm you are not logged in anywhere else with that user account?

   I re-recorded my IE 11 session, this time using Cascade Server 7.8 and made sure not to be logged in anywhere else. I turned Developer Tools on and noticed some potentially insightful errors.

   My post was prompted by a colleague's report that the WYSIWYG "Insert Link" tool doesn't work in IE 11. Someone reported a similar issue back in April but didn't specify their version of Cascade. Does our version of Cascade (7.8) use the same version of TinyMCE that doesn't support IE 11?

   Ryan,

   I just read Jason Aller's "IE 11 WYSIWYG" thread, on the HighEdCascade mailing list, referencing the following javascript bug: https://hannonhill.jira.com/browse/CSI-738.

   It seems this is a known issue for 7.8 and 7.10 and we can close this discussion.

   Thank you for following up, Erik.

   The issue with the LHS is most likely being caused by the Ajax response for the left-hand asset tree returning the login page as opposed to the tree. This is generally caused when attempting to log into an instance using the same browser and multiple users, or with the same user in multiple browsers.

   Hi Erik,

   I was reading over Jason's email to the HiEdCascade mailing list and just wanted to clarify that CSI-738 affects inserting content via dialogs into the WYSIWYG specifically (ie links, images, media) and has been around since we upgraded TinyMCE in 7.2. This issue is not related to the behavior you are experiencing.

   Not a problem at all, Erik.

   I also wanted to note that we are actively working on CSI-738, so hopefully there will be better IE11 support for the WYSIWYG in the near future.
