PublishSet Trigger not working in delete workflow (repost)
(My first post isn't showing up--sorry, if this is a duplicate!)
I'm unable to publish a publish set from a delete workflow at all. The delete step automatically ends the workflow when a delete step is present. The workflow definition is attached (I also attempted to publish the publish set before the delete step, since the delete step would end sooner than publishing the full publish set--which by then--wouldn't contain the deleted asset).

Nadira,
Have you tried removing the single closing "" line? How about moving the Publish Set to an unordered step?
Thanks!

Hey Joel,
In a delete workflow, I re-created just a un-ordered step containing a publish-set trigger and got this error message after the workflow starts-- An error occurred: A fatal error occurred while executing trigger com.cms.workflow.function.Merge: Working copy is not able to be merged
Removing Merge, the workflow completes, but nothing gets published.

Hi Nadira,
I know we already talked in chat, but I just wanted to mention what I said to you here.
It appears that the publish set was actually publishing. The problem is that there's no authorizing-user configured with the publish set trigger, so the publish message goes to the system user as opposed to some user that is named in the Workflow Definition.
