Save draft issue.

I have a user who can't submit there content. Here' there report

"I’m using internet explorer. When I hit submit, at the top of the page it says You are editing your draft of this asset. You can view or edit the original asset.

When I click on edit the original asset, it takes me back to the draft like a loop. It lets me hit submit to save the draft, but it won’t let me submit the actual edited version of the page. Nothing happens."

Any ideas?

   I've seen this happen if there is a workflow on the page already. It won't let you edit a page that is in workflow. I would also suggest using Google Chrome instead of IE. My users have a lot of issues while using IE.

   Hi John,

   We're just about to release some improvements to drafts and I'd like to see if the issue your user is describing is related.

   Would there be any for your user to create a short video or take screen schots of what they're seeing in their browser? I'm not quite following the steps and messages that the user is seeing. Here's a really simple program that we use to create screen capture videos when we want to visualize a problem.

   Please let me know.

   This ended up being an issue of invalid xml and the user did not see the message.
