link checking
I am not sure this is a bug but didn't know which section to submit it to. In the knowledge base it says: "All links are automatically checked in the system any time an asset is ... published. In the case of a broken link, an error message is generated, and users are prompted to correct the link before submitting changes." I linked to an internal page I created and then deleted that page. The link however does not generate an error on publish. It does when I edit the page. Is this a bug or a configuration issue?
Thanks,
paul

Hi Paul,
I believe on publish you'll need to check the publish message (on your dashboard) for these types of errors. The link checker will not throw an error in the interface when you click Publish on an asset.
Check out the message in your dashboard and it should contain a section about broken links.
Let me know if you're able to find it.
Thanks!

I did look at the publish message and it says the file with the broken link published. It lists all of the associated files but doesn't mention the broken link.
Thanks,
Paul
